EC2 Instance or Volume Restore
To restore your snapshots, open up the AWS console and navigate to EC2, Snapshots. All of your snapshots are listed here. The AWS web console will only show snapshot for the selected region. Check the upper right hand corner of the AWS console to be sure you have the correct region for your backups and snapshots.
To restore an EC2 instance, you can right click on the snapshot and choose "create Image" to create a new AMI. This AMI can then be used to launch a new instance and restore the backup. Alternatively, you can right click on the snapshot and choose "create volume". The EBS volume can then be attached to an existing instance. Attaching the volume to an existing instance is a common way to perform file level restore.
Contact our support team if you need assistance with a restore.
